FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL driver to haul linehaul and related duties. The role involves tractor-trailer operations and may include doubles/triples, with mandatory safety inspections and strict DOT/HazMat compliance.

You will follow dispatch instructions, maintain logs, load/unload freight, and may perform city/dock duties as needed. Eligible benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• CDL A with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements; automatic transmission allowed.
• 1 year experience in last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA 391 requirements.
• LCV experience for AZ, CO, FL, ID, IN, KS, MT, ND, NV, OH, OK, OR, SD, UT.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hook-up and break down sets of trailers that require ~100 lbs lift.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, bend, twist, squat, climb in/out of truck.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete training.
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team.
• Demonstrates initiative and motivation.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles (and triples where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor/trailer.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch.
• May chain vehicle tires.
• May perform city driver or dock duties as needed.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
