Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a professional driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations. You will perform daily safety inspections, documentations, and maintain logs while adhering to DOT regulations.

Applicants must hold a valid CDL Class A with hazmat and tank endorsements, have 1 year of recent driving experience or complete FedEx Freight's Driver Development Course, and maintain a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• 1 year experience within the last 3 years or completion of a FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements and have a satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and turn-points via tractor-trailer.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections of equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from tractors and trailers.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and complete required documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or issues to dispatch.
