FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A driver to operate tractor‑trailer combinations, including doubles and triples where applicable, and straight trucks. The role requires daily pre‑trip inspections, safe handling of freight, and adherence to DOT regulations in a fast‑paced environment.

Formación

• Must possess a class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple, hazardous materials and tank endorsements.
• One (1) year of experience within the last three years or successful completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must possess acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under 391 FMC regs.
• Long combination vehicles (LCV) qualifications for certain states.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor‑trailer, doubles, triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre‑trip inspections and safety checks.
• Hook/unhook trailers and dollies to/from a tractor/trailer.
• Freight handling with forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
