Job summary

Dessert Holdings is hiring an Oven Operator for the Food Manufacturing Plant in Aurora. The 2nd shift runs 3:00 PM–3:00 AM with a wage of $17.60 per hour. You will help create high-quality desserts, support process improvements, and ensure clean, safe production areas.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year in food manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to perform basic math. Training is provided, and benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in food manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Flexibility to work various hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to team efforts and help improve processes and operations.
• Follow GMPs, safety and work instructions.
• Inform supervisor of quality or production issues affecting efficiency or consistency.
• Keep the work area clean and perform housekeeping during shift.
• Assist with oven operation and required adjustments for quality.
• Complete training for oven operators and manage waste under 5%.
• Recognize when ovens malfunction and report to Lead/Supervisor.
