Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead GovCon engagements, manage close cycles, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will oversee contract accounting, indirect rates, and reporting while guiding associates and maintaining client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of accounting with 3+ years leading GovCon teams, CPA preferred, and strong skills in Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, and ProcAS. This on-site role offers ESOP and Total Rewards benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
• Six+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years leading teams in GovCon.
• CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of GovCon outsourced accounting engagements.
• Oversee close processes and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure revenue recognition and contract accounting accuracy for GovCon.
• Maintain compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA and related regs.
• Supervise staff, train associates, and review work product.
• Monitor project funding, costs, and profitability; support budgeting and forecasting.
