Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting in New Jersey to oversee the full lifecycle of outsourced engagements, including proposal development, staffing, and client relationship management. You will review work products, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive portfolio performance.

The role requires 6+ years of accounting experience, supervisory background, and familiarity with outsourced delivery; proficiency with MS Office and accounting software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics required.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Six+ years of general accounting experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with outsourced and/or delivery center operations preferred.
• Consultative or business advisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the full-life cycle of all assigned engagements with technical expertise across finance and accounting.
• Oversees proposal development, staffing, and client relationship management.
• Reviews final work products and monitors portfolio financial performance.
• Ensures timely billing and adheres to SOW terms; drives billing accuracy.
• Leads discovery discussions and designs integrated client solutions.
• Mentors Associates and Senior Associates to develop analytics and forecasting skills.
