Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Experienced Senior, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead full-cycle general accounting for small to mid-size clients. You will oversee ledger reconciliations, record transactions, and prepare draft financial statements.

The role emphasizes GAAP, budgeting and forecasting, client collaboration, and engagement management from onboarding to delivery with accurate workpapers and insightful analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or 6+ years of general accounting experience.
• Consultative or business advisory experience preferred.
• CPA pursuit or certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Performs full-cycle general ledger reconciliation and records transactions; prepares financial statements.
• Prepares budgets and forecasts; analyzes variances and communicates results.
• Interacts with clients to gather information and deliver reports.
• Supports proposals and explains proposed solutions to clients.
• Ensures GAAP compliance and maintains accurate workpapers.
• Travels up to 20% as required.
