Outside Sales Representative – Midland, TX
(base salary plus uncapped commissions)
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our Midland team. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and strengthening relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, goal-oriented, and excels at both hunting new business and nurturing long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of leads, consistently expanding market share.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and consistent follow-up.
- Partner with TSRs and internal teams to develop tailored solutions that eliminate client pain points.
- Conduct regular client visits to present new products, negotiate deals, and resolve any service issues.
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting campaigns, attending industry events, and providing feedback from the field.
- Demonstrate and present products with in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to guide strategic planning.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, both in appearance and behavior.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a B2B, industrial, or service-related industry.
- Strong closing skills with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- High level of self-discipline, accountability, and organization.
- Ability to understand and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Strong collaboration skills; a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Technologically savvy; mandatory proficiency in CRM systems—failure to utilize CRM will result in disciplinary action up to termination.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with the Midland market and customer base is a plus.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field.
- Experience working in or alongside technical service and operations teams.
- Familiarity with the products and services offered by our industry.
