Empire Today is looking for go-getters to meet face-to-face with customers in their homes and help find the best flooring products for their needs. Hot leads are generally within a 1-hour radius. Customers have called Empire and asked for an in-home flooring estimate. You can use the strength of the well-known brand to generate money through referrals and prospecting additional customers.

Responsibilities

• The role is a 100% commission + commission bonus opportunity. Outside Sales Consultants on average earn $50k - $70k the first year, with top performers earning well over $100k.
• Outside sales consultants meet with customers in their homes, using pre-qualified leads where available.
• Earn while you learn: new employee consultants receive paid training to learn the business.
• Represent Empire Today in a professional manner and follow company processes for sales and contracts.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions in person or virtually as required.

Requirements

• Valid drivers license, a vehicle with room for roughly 50 sample boards, and the ability to drive the vehicle with sample boards
• Valid auto insurance
• Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions both in person and virtually
• Business Development: achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales
• Availability for evening and weekend appointments
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Ability to use a tablet device and laser measuring device to facilitate diagramming and contract preparation
• Present professionally, including in Empire branded apparel
