Job summary

PCA (Packaging Corporation of America) seeks an energetic outside sales professional in Nashville to drive new business and expand existing accounts. You will secure product distribution, manage pricing and negotiations, and collaborate with design teams to enhance packaging solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of outside sales, a valid driver's license, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3–5 years of outside sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, be self‑motivated, manage time well, and commit to team success.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in negotiating sales agreements.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals and execute plans within a designated territory or accounts.
• Secure and maintain product distribution, pricing, negotiations, and agreements.
• Develop and monitor lead generation plans for a strong sales pipeline.
• Grow existing business by nurturing customer relationships and expanding account coverage.
• Coordinate with design on customer needs to improve designs and create new ones.
• Review opportunities, analyze procedures with sales manager, and propose improvements.
• Maintain account records, forecasts, budgets, and collections for delinquent accounts.
