Job summary

Altitude Group in Crossville, TN is seeking an energetic outside sales professional to grow with the team. You will meet face-to-face with business owners, learn the insurance products, and build a local book of business through calls, presentations, and in-person meetings.

You will train extensively in our classroom and in your own territory, with some travel optional and regular territory coverage. You will set weekly hours, pursue monthly and quarterly targets, and enjoy a culture that

Qualifications

• Outside sales mindset with ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Licensed Health & Life producer or willing to obtain license (licensing reimbursement)
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional work experience outside sales
• Willingness to work a 40-hour work week

Responsibilities

• Meet with business owners and decision-makers in-person to offer supplemental insurance products
• Call on new businesses, referrals and existing clients
• Set follow-up appointments and review client needs
• Build and maintain your own book of business
• Report sales metrics and activity daily
• Collaborate with sales manager to set monthly and quarterly targets
• Develop relationships with local business owners in your territory
