Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Flooring and Facility Solutions (FFS) in the United States. You will target customers, build relationships, and drive revenue through rental of floor care and surface prep equipment across the facility maintenance and restoration verticals.

You will be the voice and initial contact, using consultative sales to convert interest into loyal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or demonstrated success in related field.
• 3 years of flooring and surface prep experience preferred.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined territory.
• Prospect, qualify and acquire new accounts in facility maintenance and restoration segments.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers; act as single point of contact.
• Partner with General Rental Sales Reps to develop leads and close deals.
• Liaise with national account vertical teams to ensure full account coverage.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies and present solutions.
