Job summary

Best Tile in Raleigh/Durham is seeking an Outside Sales Professional to maintain existing relationships and develop new business in the Raleigh/Durham area. The role requires extensive travel (70% of the time), strong planning, and a drive to meet weekly goals.

You will meet remodelers, builders, contractors, and design professionals, promote our product line, and visit job sites with or without Manufacturer reps to strengthen go-to relationships.

Qualifications

• Highly independent.
• Excellent follow up.
• Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid computer and systems skills.
• Located in or near the Raleigh/Durham MSA.
• Ability to travel within an established territory 70% of the time; current and valid driver's license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly, monthly, and quarterly travel within the territory.
• Extensive travel throughout the territory within Raleigh/Durham area.
• Set and convey goals weekly; achieve them weekly.
• Develop and refine customer target list to drive new business.
• Meet and promote our product line to remodelers, builders, contractors, business owners, fabricators, and design professionals.
• Job site visits with or without Manufacturer reps to build the 'Go to' relationship with customers.
• Impromptu face-to-face meetings to uncover customer needs and solutions.
• Follow up daily with new leads provided by the branch associates.
• Territory: Raleigh and Durham Area.
• Service: Remodelers, Builders, Contractors, Business Owners, Fabricators, and Design Professionals.
