Job summary

True North Group LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer to lead client relationships, present benefits to business owners and employees, and coach new agents. This hybrid field leadership role combines sales and training with room to grow within a proven team.

You will build your own book of business, mentor others, and collaborate with leadership to scale the sales operation in the Carolina territory. A health and life license is preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside or B2B sales.
• Mentoring, coaching, or training in sales.
• Clear presentation skills for 1-on-50+ audiences.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and CRM usage.
• License: Health & Life license or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business owners to assess needs and tailor insurance plans.
• Deliver engaging benefit presentations to employee groups.
• Follow up with clients and assist with claims and coverage questions.
• Shadow new reps and provide hands-on sales training.
• Lead call reviews, prep sessions, and debriefs with the team.
• Help new reps set weekly activity goals.
• Collaborate with manager to build a strong sales team.
• Grow your own book of business while mentoring others.
