Job summary

True North Group LLC. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer to drive growth in the local territory and train new agents. You will sell to business owners, present to employee groups, and coach teammates to excel in a high-visibility, leadership-focused role.

You will build your own client base while mentoring others, using CRM tools to manage pipelines and deliver effective training. A strong sales track record and passion for developing people are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside or B2B sales.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training others in a sales setting.
• Ability to present clearly—1-on-1 or to a room of 50+.
• Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and CRM usage.
• Desire to serve, support, and grow those around you.
• License in Health & Life general lines, or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business owners to understand needs and offer tailored insurance plans.
• Deliver engaging benefit presentations to employee groups.
• Follow up with clients and assist with claims and coverage questions.
• Shadow new reps and provide hands-on sales training.
• Run call reviews, prep sessions, and debriefs with new team members.
• Help new reps track progress and set weekly activity goals.
• Collaborate with manager to build a strong, successful sales team.
• Maintain and grow your own book of business while guiding others.
