Job summary

True North Group LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer to cover a local territory. You will sell to business owners, present to employee groups, and train new agents, while building your own client base.

This hybrid leadership role rewards hands-on coaching, field sales, and team development with weekly activity goals, performance incentives, and paths into senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven outside B2B sales experience.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training others.
• Ability to present clearly to individuals or groups.
• Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce).
• Willing to obtain Health & Life license within 90 days with company assistance.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business owners to understand needs and offer tailored insurance plans.
• Deliver engaging benefit presentations to employee groups.
• Follow up with clients and assist with claims and coverage questions.
• Shadow and train new reps in the field; provide hands-on coaching.
• Run call reviews, prep sessions, and debriefs with new team members.
• Help new reps track progress and set weekly activity goals.
• Collaborate with manager to build a strong sales team.
• Grow your own book of business while guiding others to do the same.
