Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the South Chicago area, covering Orland Park, Tinley Park, Chicago Heights, East Chicago and Calumet City.

You will manage a territory, develop strategy, and grow revenue through flow-control solutions and service coordination. You will build relationships with end users, EPCs, and vendor partners while coordinating with service operations to maximize bookings and margins.

Formación

• Proven experience retaining customers and developing new business.
• Selling experience in industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical background.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Valves, instrumentation and pumps knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an existing territory while developing new business.
• Develop and execute account strategies for regional sites.
• Grow market share through cross selling and service upgrades.
• Build and maintain a reliable pipeline with close dates and margins.
• Conduct site visits, lead meetings, and coordinate plant walkdowns.
• Support outage/turnaround planning with customers.
• Maintain relationships with maintenance, reliability, operations, and procurement.
