Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for the Bayport/Pasadena area. You will build and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team, driving growth in the industrial marketplace with focus on valves and automation-instrumentation-flow control.

Responsibilities include retaining customers, developing new business, delivering technical presentations and demonstrations, maintaining records and reports, and helping set sales targets and

Qualifications

Proven outside sales experience in the industrial marketplace.
Valves and automation-instrumentation-flow control knowledge preferred.
Self-motivated and aggressive in sales tactics with a proven close.
Proficiency with MS Office; SAP/ERP or P-21 a plus.

Responsibilities

Retain customers and develop new business, expanding the territory.
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch & learns.
Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate quarterly/annual market reports.
Assist in setting sales target goals and marketing strategies.
