The Container Store is seeking an Outside Sales & Design Consultant to design and sell custom spaces in homes and select business environments. This full-time role focuses on in-home consultations, coordinating design through installation, and building repeat clientele through referrals.

Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, developing B2B/trade relationships, and managing multiple projects with high attention to detail. Training and a base draw, plus uncapped commissions, are provided.

Formación

• College degree preferred with 2–5 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience with custom spaces or closets preferred.
• Able to manage time, appointments and projects in a white glove space.
• Knowledge of design principles and trends in interiors and retail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and design tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Meet or exceed sales goals by designing and confidently selling complete solutions for residential, business, and trade clients.
• Establish trust, understand customer needs, and present clear, professional plans.
• Manage multiple projects with detail, timely follow-up, and concise communication.
• Develop clientele and leads through relationships, referrals, and partnerships.
• Build local relationships with designers, builders, realtors, and property managers.
• Identify and manage small to mid-sized B2B and trade opportunities.
• Attend installations and appointments to ensure positive customer experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
