Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Outside sales experience preferred; hunter mentality required.
• Strong new territory/customer development capabilities.
• Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, and time management.
• Ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to drive to customer visits in industrial settings; may lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• 90% New Business Development.
• Grow the territory by developing new customers while expanding relationships within existing accounts.
• Cold call and prospect for new business opportunities within the Industrial Markets such as MFG Plants, Industrial MFG Facilities, OEM.
• Manage a book of open orders to ensure customers are informed and satisfied.
• Update your CRM daily and design your schedule around an organized outside sales approach.
• Build relationships with customers at all levels of their organizations.
• Help solve customers’ problems and keep industry running.
