Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor to drive new home sales by leveraging Realtor relationships and prospective buyers with a focus on exceptional service. You will coordinate with the Closing Department, Title Company, and construction teams to ensure a seamless experience from inquiry to closing.

Responsibilities include managing relationships, presenting models, guiding buyers through the purchase process, using Salesforce for prospecting, and maintaining community

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience
• Minimum 1 year in new home sales with proven success
• Some states may require a Real Estate License; a plus in others
• Good computer skills; proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and customer service goals.
• Cultivate Realtor relationships for long-term partnerships and recurring business.
• Connect unrepresented homebuyers to Realtors and guide them through the homebuying process.
• Maintain knowledge of local markets and real estate laws; monitor trends.
• Provide community, home site, and pricing information to buyers.
• Present the Purchase Agreement and explain payments, taxes, and HOA rules.
• Use Salesforce.com for prospecting and buyer follow-ups.
• Schedule design studio visits, mortgage, and title appointments.
• Ensure timely completion of buyer paperwork and reporting.
