Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor to drive new home sales by leveraging Realtor relationships and direct buyer interactions. You will coordinate with construction, the Closing Department, and Title Company to ensure a smooth experience for homebuyers.

The role requires strong sales skills, relationship building, and excellent customer service. Travel to multiple Meritage communities is involved to match buyers with the right home solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or educational equivalent; some college coursework or Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience; prior success in new home sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new home sales by leveraging Realtor and buyer relationships to demonstrate value and close homes.
• Maintain Realtor relationships to create long-term partnerships and recurring business.
• Coordinate with Realtors and buyers through the building process with construction, Closing Department, and Title Company.
• Manage and refine personal sales presentations to convert leads effectively.
• Utilize CRM to manage discovery and follow-up strategies for all potential customers.
• Present community information, floor plans, pricing, and options to buyers and assist scheduling with design studios and lenders.
• Solicit new and referral business using Salesforce for efficient prospecting.
