Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency is seeking an Outreach Coordinator I to join the ARCHES Outreach team. The role involves partnering with community organizations to assist the unsheltered in Marion and Polk Counties, providing resources and navigation, and supporting clients with basic needs and housing connections.

The position is grant-funded with renewal potential and offers opportunities for professional development through hands-on field work.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; two years in social services preferred.
Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle and clean driving record.
CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days; Food Handler Card within 30 days.
Background screening and pre-employment drug testing required.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with homelessness service providers to identify unsheltered individuals and connect them to resources.
Locates and engages the unsheltered population to facilitate access to shelter, housing, and community services.
Outreach to local businesses, residents, and organizations to raise awareness of homelessness and resource options.
Maintains up-to-date case notes and documents in HMIS; prepares evaluation reports as needed.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements and contributes to quarterly/annual reports.
