Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency in Salem, OR is seeking a Site Assistant to support housing and shelter services at ARCHES Project sites in Polk and Marion counties. The role includes daily operations, client engagement, data entry, navigation to resources, and coordination with nutrition and support staff.

This position requires flexibility, with swing shifts from Friday to Tuesday or Sunday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant social services experience, including work with children, youth or families.

Responsibilities

• Provides program support such as cleaning, site upkeep, laundry, and supportive services.
• Provides client engagement and assistance, including answering the telephone, and monitoring client and facility safety.
• Facilitates access to guest onsite services.
• Employes de-escalation techniques and makes quick decisions in response to guest or client incidents.
• Provides supportive services for the programs offered through the ARCHES Project.
• Assists with program operations including data entry for clients, follow-up with clients, assisting clients with navigation to resources and other special projects as needed.
