Job summary

ACCESS is seeking an Outreach Specialist to locate and engage individuals and families experiencing housing instability. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide resources and referrals for housing navigation through the Center for Community Resilience, focusing on fire survivor communities.

Your role includes building relationships with service providers, maintaining records, and presenting information on ACCESS programs while adapting to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service-related field.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
• Willingness to work in various environments including outside and in poor weather.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify housing unstable individuals through outreach and referrals.
• Make referrals and follow up with community resources.
• Maintain client records and daily activity logs.
• Collaborate with CCR staff and partners to support housing stability.
