Job summary

Metropolitan Ministries seeks a BrigAIDe Community Outreach Navigator to engage with individuals experiencing homelessness, assess needs, and connect them with housing resources and services. The role operates within our Outreach Team, focusing on coordinated entry and cross-agency collaboration.

The candidate should have a social services background, be at least 22, and able to drive a multi-passenger van. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to serve diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field, or an associate's degree with relevant field experience.
• Must be at least 22 years of age and have a valid Florida driver's license.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Driving a multi-passenger van may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide services that reduce barriers to housing and connect clients with housing resources.
• Offer wraparound services in-person, by phone, virtually, and at mobile sites.
• Enroll eligible clients in Coordinated Entry (CE) and maintain HMIS records.
• Maintain client records, activity logs, and reports as directed.
• Collaborate with other homeless service providers to access Continuum of Care services.
• Drive a van/shuttle, perform vehicle checks, and maintain safety conditions.
• Participate in required meetings and support KPI-driven team goals.
