Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Tampa, FL is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with precision and compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will position patients, evaluate image quality, and use PACS, RIS and EMR systems while following ALARA principles and maintaining accurate real-time documentation.

A strong candidate has ARRT in Radiography, state licensure, BLS, 1–2 years of outpatient X-ray experience, and an associate degree in Radiologic

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate your own images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• Manage your own workflow and adapt to a high-volume schedule with minimal supervision.
• Maintain infection control standards and provide compassionate patient interactions.
• Mentor students during rotations and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
