Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Orlando, FL is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays with precision and care, ensuring proper positioning and image quality for radiologist review.

You will work with modern radiographic equipment, follow ALARA principles, and document exams in PACS, RIS and EMR. This role emphasizes fast-paced but supportive teamwork, patient empathy, and opportunities to mentor students as part of a national imaging network.

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
Valid state licensure where required.
BLS certification current or in progress.
1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
Willingness to mentor students and contribute to clinical culture.

Responsibilities

Perform high‑quality diagnostic X‑ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
Evaluate images for technical quality and document in real time in PACS/RIS/EMR.
Maintain clean rooms and support fast-paced outpatient operations.
Mentor students and contribute to professional clinical standards.
