Job summary

SimonMed seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will ensure high-quality images, accurate patient positioning, and compliant documentation while providing compassionate care.

The role requires ARRT Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) certifications, a current state license, and BLS. Mentorship and independent work are valued as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis in full compliance with ACR, MQSA, and facility protocols.
• Proficient with digital mammography equipment, RIS, and PACS; accurate labeling and documentation.
• Maintain MQSA compliance and required 15 breast CEUs every 3 years; complete training records.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow in a busy outpatient environment.
• Perform routine QA, calibrations, and equipment maintenance.
• Provide clear explanations to patients and ensure comfort without compromising image quality.
• Mentor students rotating through the department and uphold professional standards.
