Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with precise positioning, image evaluation, and rapid documentation. You will uphold ALARA principles while maintaining patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure where applicable, BLS, and 1–2 years of X-ray experience, plus proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required for Radiography.
• State licensure current where required.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred in outpatient or ambulatory care.
• Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate own images for technical quality and provide diagnostic-grade results.
• Produce images for physicians to review on PACS with real-time documentation.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient comfort.
• Adapt to a high-volume outpatient schedule and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
