SimonMed Imaging in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to deliver diagnostic-quality exams with precision, compassion, and patient-centered care. You will position patients, ensure ALARA safety, and operate PACS, RIS, and EMR systems while maintaining documentation and contributing to a collaborative clinical culture.

This role emphasizes autonomy, mentoring students, and adherence to high standards across a varied case mix.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Valid state licensure required where applicable.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient/ambulatory care a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate own images for technical quality and ensure diagnostic-grade results.
• Maintain real-time documentation and operate imaging equipment safely.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety throughout exams.
• Mentor students rotating through the department and uphold professional standards.
