Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to deliver diagnostic-quality X-ray exams with precision, compassion, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will position patients, review images in real time, and ensure adherence to ALARA standards while collaborating with radiologists and staff.

Key requirements include ARRT certification, current state licensure, and 1–2 years of X-ray experience; BLS is expected.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography required
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• BLS certification current or in progress
• 1–2 years X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure diagnostic-grade results
• Maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation in PACS/RIS/EMR
• Manage own workflow in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Provide patient-centered communication and infection control
• Mentor students rotating through the department
