Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Scottsdale seeks a dedicated X-ray Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic radiographs with precision and compassion. You will position patients correctly, ensure image quality, and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You'll rely on PACS, RIS, and EMR to document and review studies, follow ALARA principles, and maintain patient safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Active state licensure current where required.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate your own images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• Maintain clean, real-time documentation in PACS, RIS, and EMR.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues without slowing the team.
• Explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
