Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking an X-ray Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will position patients precisely, perform exams with correct technique, and evaluate images in real time to ensure diagnostic‑grade results for physicians.

You’ll work with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, follow ALARA principles, and maintain clean documentation while managing a high‑volume schedule with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• > ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• > Valid state licensure current.
• > BLS certification current or in progress.
• > 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• > Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• > Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• > Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• > Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• > Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• > Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• > Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• > Evaluate your images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• > Manage your own workflow, keep your room ready, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• > Adapt to a high-volume schedule with minimal supervision.
• > Provide patient explanations and ensure comfort and safety.
