Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks an X-ray Technologist to deliver diagnostic imaging with precision and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will perform high-quality exams, ensure correct positioning, and maintain ALARA standards while using PACS, RIS, and EMR systems. The role emphasizes teamwork, mentorship of students, and adherence to safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• State licensure current where required.
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• Manage a high-volume schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient comfort.
• Mentor students and contribute to clinical education as needed.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate in PACS/RIS/EMR.
