Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an X‑Ray Technologist to perform high‑quality diagnostic X‑ray exams with precise technique and patient‑centered care. You will review images for quality, follow ALARA principles, and maintain accurate real‑time documentation in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.

You will work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment, ensuring efficient workflows while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required and state licensure current
  • Proficiency with PACS, RIS and EMR systems
  • Strong knowledge of ALARA radiation safety principles
  • 1–2 years X-ray experience preferred; outpatient/ambulatory care a plus
  • Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure diagnostic-grade results
  • Manage workflow with minimal supervision in a high-volume setting
  • Maintain patient comfort, explain procedures, and ensure safety protocols
  • Mentor rotating students and contribute to a positive clinical culture
