Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an X-ray Technologist to deliver diagnostic quality X-ray exams with precision, compassion, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will position patients, evaluate images for quality, and document results in PACS/RIS/EMR systems while adhering to ALARA safety principles. A strong focus on teamwork, mentorship, and professional standards is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate your own images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• Maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation in PACS RIS EMR.
• Manage your own workflow and adapt to high-volume outpatient schedules.
• Mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
