Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an X-ray Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with expert positioning and real-time image evaluation. You will ensure images meet clinical standards and maintain complete, real-time documentation in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.

You will work in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a focus on ALARA radiation safety, patient empathy, and teamwork. Mentorship of students and collaboration with physicians and peers are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• BLS certification current or in progress.
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus.
• Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates.
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results.
• Adhere to ALARA radiation safety principles and maintain documentation.
• Manage own workflow in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Provide patient-centered care with empathy and infection control.
• Mentor rotating students and uphold professional standards.
