Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic radiography for outpatient imaging. You will position patients, evaluate images for quality, and ensure adherence to ALARA and safety standards while using PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.

You will work in a fast-paced outpatient environment, manage a flexible schedule, and mentor students to uphold professional standards. Join a national network focused on precision, compassion, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• BLS certification current or in progress
• 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred
• Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles
• Strong communication with patients, physicians, and teammates
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning
• Evaluate images for technical quality and produce diagnostic results
• Maintain ALARA principles and radiation safety in all procedures
• Manage workflow and keep room ready in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Mentor rotating students and contribute to clinical culture
• Ensure accurate documentation in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
