Job summary

SimonMed Imaging in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-resolution diagnostic images with precision and compassion. You will operate MRI scanners, apply MRI physics knowledge, select imaging techniques per physician orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout every scan.

This role emphasizes strict adherence to safety zones, effective patient communication, and proficiency with PACS and imaging software.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program.
• 1+ year in a high-volume MRI environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
• Enforce MRI safety protocols and patient screening.
• Maintain PACS and imaging records with accuracy.
• Monitor equipment and adjust protocols as needed.
• Mentor staff and students when available.

Education

ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
