Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
• 3–5 years experience in health care preferred
• Strong organizational skills for effective communication with patients, staff, and administration
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial and accounting reports
• Knowledge of insurance verifications (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO/PPO, Commercial and W/C) preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet timelines
• Customer service experience required
• Working knowledge of computer systems used in outpatient therapy clinics

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and influence department activities and delivery of admitting and registration services
• Interact with staff, patients and health team members while maintaining professional standards
• Oversee daily operations, manage referrals, monthly reports and dashboards
• Analyze and reconcile financial and vendor reports for the clinics
• Supervise personnel: staffing, timekeeping, evaluations, training, interviewing and selection
