Job summary

Houston Physicians’ Hospital seeks a Therapy Service Administration Manager to lead front-office operations and the insurance verification team across outpatient therapy locations. You will supervise staff, ensure HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with the Director of Therapy Services to optimize processes and patient experience.

The role requires strong analytics, software proficiency, and the ability to train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a medical or physical therapy office setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience across multi-site settings.
• Minimum of three years of insurance verification and authorization experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in business analytics and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; HIPAA privacy knowledge.
• Willingness to travel locally on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of front office reception across outpatient therapy locations.
• Manage insurance verification and authorization processes.
• Lead and train staff across clinical front‑office and back‑office functions.
• Generate and analyze operational and financial reports to drive service improvement.

Education

Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related)

5+ years medical/physical therapy office experience

2+ years supervisory/management experience

3+ years insurance verification and authorization experience
