Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Behavioral Health professional for the Floyd Behavioral Health Services - Adult PHP. You will facilitate group therapy, supervise patients during program hours, and collaborate with physicians and staff to support treatment plans.

This full-time role requires a Master's in counseling or related field, Georgia licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMSW/LMFT) and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related field from an accredited institute.
• Licensed by the state of Georgia (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT).
• At least 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates group therapy and develops programming and therapeutic treatment for identified patients.
• Supervises patients during program hours. Monitors hallways, patients going to restroom, etc.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with patients, physicians, allied health professionals and all referral sources. Plans and facilitates psycho educational groups.
• Co-facilitates group therapy with therapists. Assists in facilitating adult groups when needed.
• Works cooperatively with Program Manager in program development. Assists in meal preparation and service with patients.
