Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd is seeking a Primary Therapist for the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Rome, GA. This full-time position supports group therapy, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration to provide high-quality care for adults.

Requires a Master's degree in counseling and Georgia licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMSW/LMFT). At least 1 year of related experience is preferred; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with no weekends or major holidays.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the state of Georgia (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT).
• Master's degree in counseling or related field from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates group therapy and develops programming for identified patients.
• Supervises patients during program hours and monitors activities.
• Documents treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans in a timely manner.
• Communicates treatment issues with nurses and physicians and participates in treatment team meetings.
• Contributes to program development with the Program Manager and supports patient transportation and meal times.
