Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of clerical experience in medical office setting required.

• Background of insurance knowledge for certain tasks.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and registers patients for the outpatient clinic.
• Verifies eligibility and ensures pre-authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications.
• Works with physician offices, Utilization Review and Business Office Departments.
• Performs other job-related duties as directed by the Supervisor.
