Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level professional registered nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 program. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care under supervision and with guidance from educator or RN leadership.
• Collects and analyzes patient data before/during/after hemodialysis and documents in chart.
• Educates patients and families about learning needs and care plans.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with care staff.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents justification and effectiveness.
• Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
• Serves as a resource and participates in staff training and onboarding.
• Ensures proper lab collection, processing, and scheduling.
