Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Outpatient Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP1) to coordinate and deliver comprehensive dialysis patient care. This role involves analysis of patient data, education, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe treatment delivery.

The CAP1 RN will work under supervision, progress through CAP requirements, and participate in staff training while maintaining adherence to policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to direct care staff as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Engage in education for patients and families and participate in quality improvement.
