Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. The RN will provide and coordinate care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision, with opportunities to learn and advance within the Clinical Advancement Program.

The role involves delegation, patient education, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality dialysis therapy and adherence to policy and regulations.

Qualifications

• RN with nursing degree and license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in nephrology/hemodialysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Mentor and delegate tasks to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
• Perform hemodialysis therapy with safe and effective delivery.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document outcomes.
• Participate in team decisions, teaching, and quality improvement.
• Ensure lab collection and processing procedures are followed.
