Care New England Health System is seeking an Outpatient Registration Clerk to serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, and staff, guiding them to the correct locations and ensuring accurate registration information.

This per diem role requires strong English communication, data entry, and telephone skills; EPIC experience is preferred to support efficient patient flow and confidentiality.

Formación

• Proficient grasp of English language, grammar and punctuation skills.
• Telephone skills, typing, computer and data entry skills, professional interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with patients, clinicians, and external customers.
• EPIC experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Directs patients, family members and visitors to the appropriate location in the hospital.
• Reviews and completes all patient registration requirements with patients new to Butler Hospital Outpatient Department.
• Communicates information effectively with Outpatient Services and clinical staff to ensure clear, accurate information.
• Answers incoming calls in a professional, courteous manner and relays messages as needed, including prescription support for physicians.
• Registers patients into the hospital computer system and maintains data integrity.
