Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient transfers safely with assistive devices when needed.
• Develops and implements plans of care with goals, treatment, outcomes and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families and other health care providers using effective methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Documents care in accordance with department standards and practices.
• Mentors students and staff as a clinical instructor when assigned.
• Collaborates with the medical team and participates in meetings.

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Physical Therapy (Required)

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
